Ramius Corporation ("Ramius"), the developer and operator of Recollective.com, is committed to protecting the privacy of our users' personal information. Recollective.com is our self-serve service accessible at http://recollective.com. The following statement explains our information gathering and dissemination practices as they relate to Recollective.com.
When you register with Recollective, or enter via a Single Sign On process, Recollective requires a minimum disclosure of your first name, last name and email address. You may also be required to disclose other demographic information such as your date of birth and gender. Collectively this is all referred to as "registration data". Depending on the community or study you are participating in, you may be asked to disclose other profile information. As part of your registration, you will be asked to select a username and password for use at Recollective. Please keep your password confidential at all times. If you believe that the security of your password has been compromised, please contact Ramius immediately.
Within Recollective, registered users may configure communities or activities that will request that you disclose personal information. Your answers to such requests are shared with the study administrators and possibly with other participants, and as such, are subject to possible disclosure by those users. These administrators and other participants are Recollective users, but are not operating under any association with Ramius. Ramius is not responsible for the actions of those administrators or any other users of Recollective. All users are subject to compliance with the Recollective Terms of Service.
Ramius does not monitor your communications on Recollective, but may, in its discretion, do so if it believes that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of Ramius or others, or to protect the personal safety of other users or the public, or to address any contravention of the Terms of Service which governs your use of this service.
The registration data - including your first and last names, user name, and email address - is used by our service to identify you and your contributions to the Recollective system. A valid email address is required by our service to provide you with updated information from Recollective, including activity updates, automated notifications, and service information.
Demographic and profile data may be used to personalize our service to your interests. Demographic and profile data may be shared by Ramius with our partners such as investors and advertisers on an aggregate basis only.
Logs of website traffic are collected and include information such as IP addresses, browser types and cookie information. This information is collected to analyze trends, administer the site and to calculate overall activity. Personally identifiable traffic patterns are not disclosed to third parties.
Within Recollective, depending on the configuration options selected by the administrator of each study or community you participate in, some or all of your information may be open to the public. Please remember that any information or content disclosed could become public information and you should exercise caution in your disclosures.
This website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of information and content placed on the Recollective site. The information and content is stored in a secure operating environment that is configured to not be accessible by unauthorized parties.
